Lights, displays, and screens consume a great amount of energy. All industries, especially vertical farming, are constantly looking for environmental solutions to greatly reduce energy consumption in these technologies which can lead to a drastic reduction in the production of green house gases.

Our Start-Up
Alva is an advanced energy-efficient electroluminescent materials manufacturer. Alva has created new highly energy-efficient electroluminescent materials for use in lighting, UV lighting, vertical farm lighting, medical lighting, displays, and backlighting LCD screens.
Dr. Martin Castillo and team has successfully participated in the first ever Sparkasse Business Accelerator program here in Bremen, Germany. We are ready to lead our start-up to success and investment opportunities are available.
Dr. Martin Castillo has over 20 years developing energy efficient materials at some of the top research centers and universities in the world. Jonathan has a diverse engineering and business background with a working experience of 13 years. Together we hope to bring a new green technology to the world in hopes of greatly reducing green house gases.
Our Materials
Our materials are over 1,000 times finer that current state of the art electroluminescent materials and are >99.99% crystalline. We also have the great ability to dope a large amount of dopants into the crystal structures with our new process. These are properties desired in creating energy-efficient lighting.
We have recently filed a patent for our process and are on the way to teaming up with lighting manufacturers.
Our extremely stable powders that can be readily mixed with dye electric pastes, inks, alcohols, water, or whatever best fit your needs for printing, spraying, and other manufacturing methods in lighting, displays, and screens.
Our vision is to significantly contribute to the reduction of energy consumption and the conservation of resources with the help of our advanced electroluminescent material.
